Job Alternatives at Tarime District Tarime District is among the seven districts of the Mara Area of Tanzania, East Africa. It was beforehand generally known as the “North Mara District”. Its administrative seat is Tarime city. It's bordered from the north to east by the Kenyan districts of Migori, Trans Mara and Kisii, and to the east by the Maasai Mara recreation reserve. To the south it's bordered throughout the Mara River by the Serengeti and Butiama districts, and to the west by Rorya District.
North Mara Gold Mine is situated inside Tarime District. It's operated by Acacia Mining.[1]
In accordance with the 2002 Tanzania Nationwide Census, the inhabitants of the Tarime District was 492,798.[2] In accordance with the 2012 Tanzania Nationwide Census, the inhabitants of Tarime District was 339,693.[3]
